The fact that I was even thinking about her being around had me cursing myself. That was crazy. No, this was sex. She was just my toy. There was nothing more to it.

The slip in thought had me burying my face in her roughly, flicking my tongue and sucking to drive her to absolute madness. She was a flailing wreck, moans and pleas falling from her lips. Nothing about her was in control right now, and I wanted to make sure that she wouldn’t forget it.

As I continued my assault with my tongue, I let my hand slide down, pinching her nipple roughly to hear her moans shatter with a little shriek. She didn’t disappoint, and I rewarded her by slipping my tongue inside her before returning my focus to her apex.

The moans that came from her were animalistic and lost. This was the sound of raw pleasure, and I was forcing her to succumb to it entirely. She wanted everything that I was doing to her, and more.

Fortunately, I had so much more to give.

Feeling a little cruel, I twisted her nipple once more before slapping the side of her tit and letting my hand slide down her body. Sara moaned, continuing to writhe as I stroked her with my tongue, but I was feeling greedy, and I wanted her orgasm now.

Slowing the pace of my tongue on her clit elicited a frustrated whine from Sara, and I knew we would be playing this game again. Fortunately for Sara, I was done playing. I was ready to win. I slid my finger across her wetness, laughing evilly as I continued with my mouth.

Sara groaned, clearly humiliated about the state she was in. Something told me she wasn’t used to being played with like this.

For a minute, I considered teaching her about orgasm denial tonight just to watch those perfect little pouty lips fall into desperate and pathetic shapes, but I had heard it could be damaging to the dynamic between the two individuals if done too early and I didn’t want to risk that. Not when we were having this much fun. It would have to wait. So many reasons to punish her tonight.

“Mmm,” I mumbled into her, using my finger to begin exploring her, stroking and probing her almost carelessly.

  She whimpered, pleadingly.

The fact that she was here and soaked and whining for me to give her pleasure catered to everything I wanted out of sex, and I was going to take this for all it was worth. I wanted her desperately shaking and begging me to let her finish.

But first, I wanted to claim her orgasm.

Deciding to take pity on her and move the process along, I slid a finger into her, beginning to slowly pump it in and out of her while I continued to torture her clit with my tongue. Her response was a heated combination of thrashing and thrusting.

The sharp, pathetic moans that starting falling out of her mouth made me think of all the terrible things that I wanted to do to her to cause them.

The noises she was making practically begged me to torture her.

Sara was shaking and squirming so fiercely, I knew she was close. She panted, choked moans filling the room with the sound of her desperation for what I was about to give her. Once I finished her off, I was going to fuck her until she couldn’t walk.

Increasing the speed of my tongue, I slipped a second finger into her, feeling like a fucking king for making her emit such broken, submissive little sounds as I fucked her with my hand. She was so close, and I was fucking ready for it.

The sudden sound of my phone ringing brought me to a dead stop, which had Sara groaning from being denied her orgasm after all.

It was Mark. I clicked to answer the phone, probably a little too aggressively. If Mark was calling, something bad had happened. Sitting up, my body went rigid as I answered the phone.

“What happened?” I asked, my voice calm and authoritative. The way a leader should be in tumultuous times, or so the stories said.

“It’s Tyler,” Mark said, sounding fucked up and worried. I wasn’t surprised. Clearly Jair had passed on my message.

“What about him?” I demanded, my patience wearing thin. I needed to know what was happening. Now.

I sat up, pulling away from Sara. The aching need to be finished off was etched across the posture of her body, which made my cock ache and made me that much more pissed off. It also made me wonder, under the layers of worry, if I should consider making her climax twice for this.

“Tyler’s sent out his boys to find you two,” Mark said, epitomizing the “don’t shoot the messenger” tone. He sounded seriously spooked.

“Why?” I growled, knowing the answer, but needing to be sure.

“He wants you two dead,” Mark said. “He has boys heading to your place right now. You need to get out of there.”

“Fuck.” I sat bolt upright, immediately jumping into motion. This was not the kind of news I wanted to get. Those fucks were looking for trouble if they were actually deciding to come here.

Looking alarmed, Sara watched me start pacing and sets into action, sensing something is wrong. She looked alert and ready to move, but the anxiety of not knowing was clearly getting to her.

“How long?” I demanded. We needed to leave immediately. We had to be gone before they arrived or I risked pulling Sara into a firefight.

“Maybe twenty minutes?” Mark said, his tone revealing that he had no degree of certainty.

“We’re leaving,” I said, grabbing my shirt and putting it on.

Sara followed suit, getting dressed quickly and grabbing her bag.

“Call me if anything else happens,” I said, hanging up.

“Ryder,” Sara said, watching me with wide eyes. The fire in my veins flared. I wanted nothing more than to lie in wait to kill all of these guys for bringing out that fear in her eyes. “Are they coming here?”

“Yes,” I said, handing her my motorcycle jacket and my secondary helmet.

Sara accepted them numbly, processing the fear that I was sure was not terribly far below the surface. Her face was grim, but focused.

“Let’s go,” I said, grabbing my helmet and locking the door. It might slow them down if they have to break down the door.

Nothing would ever stop me from killing Tyler and his boys after this.

Moving down the stairs, Sara remained on my heels. I mounted the bike, moving the kickstand. This bike had gotten me out of worse situations. Sara mounted the bike behind me, immediately wrapping her arms around my waist.

I went through the usual motions, and my bike roared to life like the beast that it was. A sense of calm filled me as we pulled off. Right now, in this moment, it was just me, a pretty girl, and my bike. We disappeared into the roar of the engine and the enveloping night.

I wasn’t sure if Tyler or Sara was going to pay more for tonight’s events.

  Sara

Despite the solidity and warmth of Ryder in my arms, I felt a deep, icy fear beginning to creep from my chest down to my spine. In this moment, existing felt as if it was too much to even process. My body ached from the emptiness left behind by Ryder’s touch, and my mind raced with adrenaline-fueled anxiety that was beginning to make me nauseous.

Tyler was really and truly after me. This wasn’t something that was just going to blow over. It was the middle of the night and Ryder and I were currently fleeing through the streets for the second time tonight, from an entirely different group of people. This was insanity. Nothing about this felt real.

I wondered for a fleeting moment if I might actually be dreaming.

The further we traveled down the road, the more at ease I began to feel. Nothing was going to lessen the magnitude of the overall situation, but at least in leaving the apartment before Tyler’s gang members showed up would allow us to get somewhere where we could safely determine what we were going to do now that the cops and a legion of angry biker gang members were searching for us.

Fuck, I thought, realizing that my body tensed in response to my internal cursing, expecting a punishment.

The adrenaline coursing through my body amplified my response as I let my mind wander for a brief moment to relive Ryder’s hand as it col
lided with my skin.

A shiver slipped carelessly through my body.

Suddenly, the sounds of the motorcycle seemed to be getting louder. I didn’t know much about motorcycles, but I figured there was no reason for the bike to start roaring like that if we weren't going any faster.

When Ryder turned his head behind us, I realized that the sound wasn’t actually coming from his bike, but from a chorus of them behind us. He swore, loud enough for me to hear before facing forward and sending us rocketing through the streets.

The bikes behind us all fell into pursuit. I allowed myself a moment to look back to see how close they were. My eyes widened. Not even ten feet behind was was James on his bike, and he looked pissed. I hadn't even realized that he could feel that much emotion. The guy had been totally deadpan every time I was saw him.

A wounded part of my mind wondered if Haley had any idea that the guy she was dating was about to hunt down and kill one of her best friends. Pain and hurt tugged at my heart when I again questioned whether or not Haley had known how bad of a guy Tyler was when she offered me up to him like a sacrifice. All so she could ogle her emotionless bad boy.

If we survived this awful chase, I needed to find the answer to whether or not she knew all along.

Unrelenting fear steadily began to course through my veins. Surely we couldn’t outrun them. What would they actually do when they caught us? Would it be as bad as Ryder thought?

Ryder’s bike growled as he sent as catapulting at speeds considered less than safe further up the street. The buzz of bikes behind us fell away. Trusting Ryder in this moment wasn’t a chase so much as a necessity, but I couldn’t help the ferocity with which I wrapped my arms around him as he sent us gliding around a turn to get us onto another road.

What proceeded was an onslaught of Ryder weaving through the darkened streets of the city as I clung to his form, allowing him to drag me along with each lean as we took turn after turn in order to keep Tyler’s lackeys off of our tracks.

Daring to look back, I all but sighed with relief when I realized that we were no longer being followed. Relaxing ever so slightly, I allowed myself to drown in the sound of the air rushing alongside the helmet and the purr of Ryder’s bike between my legs.

Admittedly, that might not have been the best place to focus, considering the fact that between Ryder’s merciless teasing and the adrenaline of being quite literally chased down by a potentially dangerous group of men, I was all ready to start clawing at the curtains.

The bike continued rumbling between my legs as Ryder finally began to slow, pulling into the parking lot of a questionable looking motel. Apparently this was where we would be staying for the night. Maybe my needs would be met after all.

“Come on,” Ryder said, dismounting the bike and standing to help me get off of it. His face was calm, but sharp.

“I can’t believe you lost them,” I said, trying not to overthink the way his hand gripped my hip as he helped me off of the bike. Or the sensations that went spiraling through me in response to his touch.

Ryder let out a short laugh in response. The alpha laugh that said “I’m not surprised” even though I knew he must have considered the possibility that we wouldn’t get away. The ever-present tension in his shoulders did little to mask his thoughts on what could have happened if we hadn’t escaped.

“Let’s get a room,” Ryder said, steering me to the door of the motel office. The pressure of his hand on my hip had me beginning to wonder just what might happen in this motel room of ours.

I raised my eyebrows at him, as if to say oh, really?

The girl who sat behind the counter at the motel looked young and artsy in a dramatic way. It was with perfect candor that she regarded us as we walked in. I’m sure she had seen it all, and was writing us into her narrative of women and men meeting in secret at a motel because their sexual union was built around being unable to do it at home.

The thought of what she might think, and the realization that she might not be too far off considering I had just had a strange and dangerous man’s face buried between my legs had me eagerly waiting to get over this transaction so I could make my way back to the room with Ryder and replace the night’s terror with torturous intimacy.

“We’d like a room,” Ryder said, giving the girl a cheap and cocky smile. Apparently he also enjoyed the assumptions in her eyes.

“You came to the right place,” the girl replied, dryly. “Credit card?” she asked, with absolutely no shift in her facial features.

Ryder smiled, pulling out his wallet and handing her a card. It hit me suddenly that I had actually expected him to have a rubber-banded wad of cash in true gang leader style, but all he had was a basic leather wallet full of cards and his licenses. Interesting.

“Here you go,” the girl said, handing Ryder his credit card back along with a key to the room.

Room 202 was waiting for us.

“Thank you,” Ryder said politely, taking the key and turning to me. “Are you ready?” He asked, giving me a devious grin, clearly wanting to affirm the receptionist’s perception of what was about to happen.

“Mhmm,” I mumbled shooting him a glare and walking towards the door.

The sharp snap of his hand colliding with my ass had me hissing as he strode past me with a laugh.

Daring to glance in the direction of motel girl, I realized that she without question thought that I was a prostitute or the woman he was cheating on his wife with.

Ryder was going to hear it when I got him in that damned room, and if he didn’t like what I had to say, something told me he had a few ways to punish me for it that I might not completely hate.

“You’re dead to me,” I said, walking behind him to our room. It was an effort to not acknowledge how well those jeans accentuated the musculature of this ass as he made his way up the staircase to the second floor.

“Come now, Sara,” he said, not even deigning to look back. “I think that we both know you’ve lost all dignity for the night.”

Ryder’s tone was playful, and the way he laughed had me swinging out my fist to punch his arm in response. And also had me wanting to crawl and beg for him.

“Jerk,” I said, under my breath as we came to a stop outside the door.

The warning look he gave me in response had me biting my lip. It killed me how skilled he was at looking authoritative and playful at the same time.

“Watch it,” he said in that deliciously low voice before opening the door to the room.

It looked exactly like what I would have imagined when thinking ‘sketchy edge-of-the-city motel.’ All outdated wallpapers and chipped paint. The comforter looked about a thousand years old, but the mini-bar looked well stocked and something told me that we would be getting into that before the night was over.

“Well,” I said, with forced optimism. “At least we’ll be safe here,”

“I honestly have lived in worse places, but I feel a little bad about forcing you to stay here,” Ryder said.

I looked up at him in surprise.

“What does that mean?” I said, raising my eyebrows.

“You just seem like you stay in nicer places,” Ryder said, looking afraid that he might offend me, though he wasn’t entirely wrong.

“Fair enough,” I said with a faux apologetic look, grabbing one of the tiny vodkas and lying down on the bed. A part of me wondered if I should have requested two beds, but it seemed a little late in the game for that now.

“Smart choice,” Ryder said, motioning to the shooter of vodka before grabbing one of his own and popping it open.

I slammed the mini-bottle down true party-girl style, eager to calm the slight tremor in my hands. By this point, I wasn’t even sure if it was the fear of being chased or the fact that once again I was alone in a room with Ryder, but I wanted to feel the calm pull of alcohol as it hit my system.

“So, now what?” I asked, looking up at him where stood across the room. The fact that we had no plan righ
t now was causing a swell of anxiety to build within my chest.

“We lay low and make a plan,” Ryder said. “I have a place we can stay if it comes down to it. At least it will give us shelter and time to regroup.”

“I like that idea,” I said, feeling a sense of calm finally begin to crash against the frayed edges of my psyche.

“But we have something more important to attend to first,” Ryder said, voice serious. I stared at him expectantly. “I think we need to address the fact that you caused an awful lot of trouble tonight.”

The playful admonishment in his tone had me ready to bend over for him all over again, but my pride slipped through and I glared at him instead. I couldn’t make it that easy for him. He looked too much like he was used to getting his way.

“After getting us chased across town, one might even assume that you need to be punished for getting us into such a predicament.” The challenge in his eyes had me ready to throw something at him.

“Awh, were you afraid that the big bad biker boys were going to get us?” I said, giving him a face of mock pity that I knew would have him ready to kill me.

“Sara.” My name slipped out through his gritted teeth, and something had sharpened in the way he was now looking at me.

A delicious shiver slid down my spine.

“What?” I said, feigning innocence. I widened my eyes, biting my lip and looking up at him.

The intensity of his gaze had me wanting to back down, but I was already having too much fun provoking his wrath. I wanted more. I wanted to see what he would do. It was too much fun testing the limits like this.

“Clearly someone didn’t learn her lesson earlier,” Ryder threatened, raising his eyebrows as I did my best to look confused.

Ryder let out a quiet growl, his eyes narrowing.

“Don’t you dare give me that vapid look that you give to boys too dumb to realize what you’re actually thinking.”
